Is love all you need? I have been with my boyfriend for three years and he is my first everything, my first love, the first boy who saw something great in me, and my first heartbreak. We are still together but it has been a completely rocky road to happiness, still looking for directions there. Our entire relationship has been long distance, he is in the military. And he is now currently deployed in Iraq but our relationship is barely hanging by a thread. We have been up and done and shared so many moments that most people our ages have not even faced.. An eight hour drive to just see one another was one of our easier obstacles.. anyway. I love him, with my entire heart and soul.. but it's a love that is so draining. I use to get so much back in return that this steady battle was well worth it, but now I feel I am doing this all on my own. I have by no means been perfect. I have a lot of family issues that have been going on with me right now that have sent my emotions on a roller-coaster. At times I am completely mad for no reason and I do take it out on him.. but he does so many things time and time again that hurt me. It all started about a year ago.. on my birthday to be exact.. I found out he cheated on me with some girl over the internet. I went ballistic, I grabbed his phone and made him give it to me... well I tried but he fought me for it. I literally was pounding on him covered in tears to just give me the phone.. but he wouldn't. He kept saying I was acting crazy and this girl, go figure... was just a friend. This was the morning of my birthday, when I woke up in the middle of the night because I was having a hard time sleeping because someone kept texting him.. and it did not sound like a guy. He had this number listed under a boy's name, btw.. so I woke up early and called the number and a girl answered. I immediately hung up and woke him up, literally sick to my stomach. We had this intense argument in which he wasn't apathetic.. he was a complete asshole. He told me I was acting crazy and that this girl was nothing more than a friend.. then I asked why I couldn't speak to her, because by this time he took the phone from me.. and why she was listed under a boy's name.. so basically we spent all day fighting.. and he left with his phone but I took the battery out of it. Did I mention I was in another state at this time with him visiting in which we were in the Army barracks so I had no place to go.. so he left for a few hours, once again.. on my birthday and came back. When he came back he was a little bit nicer, I don't want to give him too much credit here.. but he was.. Anyway.. being the sneaky person I am, when he was gone I went on his computer and tried to find anything I could to see if he was really cheating on me and I found his info for his phone logs and I wrote it down.. That day we changed his number and he told me he would never talk to that girl again.. he promised. So I end up having to leave early from my visit because some "mysterious" Army something or other came up.. and I had to buy a ticket.. all in all I spent $800 on tickets alone to see him.. and he didn't even get me a gift.. nor did he know which date was actually my birthday.. He was a day off.. I go home and at the end up the month when his phone records were posted online I go crazy in my mind because he has been talking to this girl for HOURS. I mean everyday for hours at a time. And he is lieing to me telling me he can't answer his phone for this reason or that the whole time and made me leave early.. so I keep my cool trying to figure out what I am going to do.. I don't really keep my cool, I am a crying mess because I don't know why he would do this.. Especially after I had already waited for him for a year in Iraq.. but I decided I had to do this in person so I just kept telling him I had to speak to him in person it was urgent.. and I wouldn't tell him what was wrong but just said I had to do it in person.. he kept pushing it off and wouldn't let me come see him and finally I get there. I had composed a box of everything he had ever given me or made me think of him and wrote a letter telling him what a piece of shit I thought he was.. So we pull off into a parking lot and I give him one last chance to tell me anything.. but he doesn't. I had him the phone records and then just burst out crying screaming how could you.. you know the usual hot mess. All in all, we made up.. fuck me.. right? I had trust issues with him ever since then. I found IMs and he spoke to her the exact same way he talked to me. He gave her the same nickname as me.. all these terrible things. We continue on with our relationship, trying to progress forward. Everyone remembers the god-awful perms from the 80's but how many of you have opinions about perms available today? How are they different and should I risk the damage to my hair by trying one? I ask because I have stick straight hair and in low humidity, I use hot rollers every day. In the Tennessee summer, humidity is high and rollers are pointless because my hair goes back to flat 5 minutes after I walk outside. I wonder if getting some sort of perm will solve the problem. Hello. I have naturally curly hair. I love using hot rollers and curling irons on my hair to make loose curls. What i hate is that the minute i go outside it gets frizzy and also that when i wash it its super curly til I hot roller it out. I get the Japanese Hair straightener done on my bangs only and they stay straight and I really love it. Im considering doing my whole head to eliminate frizzies in the back but i want to make sure i can still hot roller my hair and keep a curl becuase i like that look. My hairdresser claims i can but I want to hear from real women that have had the experience.I forgot to mention that i do trust my hairdresser BUT after going online and reading some posts about the Japanese straightening most girls say its pin straight and your stuck with that look...so im getting conflicting answers. no one has really gotten to deep into whether you can curl it back up question so im looking for more answers. more

I am going to be in a wedding and want to have a full head of soft curls. I have used a curling iron before but the curl would fall with in an hour or so.
